What is an SSP?

Support Service Provider (SSP)

If you have any personal business or activity that requires the assistance of a SSP, contact SHEP and inform them the date and time.  SHEP will assign a SSP to be your “eyes and ears.”

To request for a SSP, contact Timothy email  timothy@shep-ok.org

SSPs make it possible for you to function as an independent person.

SSP cannot:

  1. 1.   SSP cannot do your work for you.
  2. 2.   SSP cannot drive you to a place and drop you off.  If you need a ride, call a cab.  SSP must work for you by staying with you and telling you what is going on around you.
