SHEP DeafBlind (DB) MEMBERSHIPs
SHEP is a non-profit organization for people who dedicate and focus on DeafBlind empowerment and accessibility.
As of Fiscal Year 2023, Sight-Hearing Encouragement Program was able to provide services for a larger audience of dual sensory loss individuals, for free, by providing Support Service Providers to our clients.
With the increased demand for SSPs, SHEP has established a membership system, to provide even more support to those that perhaps need more assistance than the hours of support we can currently provide for free.
To combat this, we have had to modify our membership tiers from the past to meet both the economic changes as well as the higher demand and limited government funding.
Membership Details: The memberships listed below include persons who are DeafBlind. It is not mandatory to acquire a membership, however, it adds additional hours of service for those who would like the extra outings or need extra hours for their personal needs.
Bronze Membership: $80/bimonthly
Provides the purchasing DeafBlind individual with four (4) additional hours bimonthly.
Silver Membership: $120/bimonthly
Provides the purchasing DeafBlind individual with six (6) additional hours bimonthly.
Gold Membership: $160/bimonthly
Provides the purchasing DeafBlind individual with eight (8) additional hours bimonthly.
