Interpreted Art Deco Walking Tour

  • The Mayo Hotel 115 West 5th Street Tulsa, OK, 74103 United States (map)

We are kicking off Deaf Awareness Week with a guided architecture tour of our beautiful downtown! The 2-hour walking tour will be lead by Tulsa Foundation for Architecture docents for TSHA. A certified sign language interpreter will be provided by TSHA.

Join us on September 23rd to discover the architecture Tulsa has to offer! Starting at the Mayo Hotel, our tour guides will bring you back in time to learn who built downtown as we know it, and why. We see these buildings all the time, but do you know the history behind (and under) them? We'll check out everything from beaux arts to art deco... and maybe a tunnel, just for fun.

Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
