About the Job

The mission of Sight-Hearing Encouragement Program, Inc. (SHEP) is to enable each person who is DeafBlind to live and work in his or her community of choice. Sight Hearing Encouragment Program is the biggest non-profit in the state of Oklahoma that provides vocational training exclusively to youth and adults who want to serve as an accessibility bridge to the DeafBlind. We currently have an exciting career opportunity available to join our team as a part time Financial Account Manager. The location of this position is  Oklahoma City (Surrounding Area), OK but has ability for remote work. The Financial Account Manager you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and assist in preparing financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts. Other duties include: Monitor monthly financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met, review financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs, analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities and help management make financial decisions.


Who We’re Looking For

  • Familiarity with or desire to have knowledge of the topics, tax laws, and regulations that are specific to the non-profit organization or industry.

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners

  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills

  • Integrity and professionalism

  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
